On 3rd March 2024, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, and Counsellor Jaya Patrachai, attended the premiere of the Danish television series about Muay Thai entitled “Alt Er Tilladt” at the Grand Teatre in Copenhagen. The Ambassador was welcomed by Mr. Nikolaj Storgaard, the film director and Mr. Hans Emil Olesen, President of the Danish Muay Thai Federation.
The series “Alt Er Tilladt” (No Rules) focuses on a Danish teenager who practices Muay Thai as a martial arts and self-defense skill to play with in a virtual reality game, as well as to learn about the rules of Muay Thai which emphasizes discipline and respect for others, including the art of Wai Khru which is a unique identity of Muay Thai. The series has a total length of 15 episodes and previews of the first 5 episodes were shown at the premiere. Most of the actors are young actors between the ages of 9-15, including Danish and Thai descent actors who have trained Muay Thai, as well as the coaches who are Muay Thai athletes from the Danish Muay Thai Federation. The series will be streaming on the Danish channel DR Ultra on 15 March 2024.
