On 13 May 2025, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, paid a courtesy call to Ms. Vibeke Pasternak Jorgensen, Under Secretary for Legal Affairs at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to seek support from Denmark regarding Thailand’s proposal to host the Advisory Center on International Investment Dispute Resolution under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). They also discussed about Denmark’s experience in developing international law in relation to cybersecurity, particularly in the area of international humanitarian law (IHL). With regard to the IHL, Denmark has developed a Military Manual on international law relevant to Danish armed forces in its operations. Other topics included ways to preserve historic treaties and legal documents through digitalization and archiving.
