On 22 February 2023, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse, hosted a dinner for the Friends of Thailand, with participation of Mr. Hans Hermansen, CEO of the Copenhagen Post, Ms. Githa Schultz, Mr. Hasse Ferrold, President of International Club Copenhagen (ICC) and his spouse Ms. Minna Kristensen, Ms. Heidi Wang, member of the City Council of Copenhagen, Mrs. Wanida Samittiwiwat, President of Rak Thai Forening Association, Mr. Hans Emil Olesen, President of the Danish Muay Thai Federation, and his spouse Mrs. Christina Kragh, Mr. Abdulsattar Albarazi, Head of the Siam Muay Thai Association and his spouse Mrs. Josefine Kühnel Albarazi, Mr. Kasper Staalsø, Buying & Merchandising Manager of Illum Co., Ltd., Mr. Tyge Snekloth Søndergaard, former Thai Airways reservation agent and Royal Orchid Plus, and his daughter Ms. Signe Snekloth Søndergaard.

On this occasion, Her Excellency the Ambassador thanked all the guests who have always cooperated and well supported the works of the Embassy as well as the activities of the Thai community in Copenhagen, which help promote relations between Thailand and Denmark in the areas of business, cultural and sports as well as people connectivity between both countries. In addition, there were discussions about the activity plans of the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen in 2023 that the Friends of Thailand will also participate and support.
