On 23 February 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized the seventh session of Thai cooking class for members of the Ambassadors’ Spouse Group (ASG) in Denmark at the Thai Residence. The class was well received and attended by participants from 10 countries namely, Argentina, Egypt,Germany, Israel, Korea , the Netherlands, Poland, Philippines, Slovenia and the US including Mr. Jorgen Krenk, Chairman of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs of Denmark, an International Association of Gastronomy.
Ms. Supranee Satase, Ambassador’s chef, demonstrated to the participants how to cook “Pad Thai Goong” (Stir-fried rice noodles with shrimps). After the demonstration, the participants were divided into 3 groups for “Pad Thai Goong”cooking contest . After the contest, Mr. Theerakun Niyom, spouse of the Thai Ambassador, hosted a luncheon for members of the ASG along with awarding prizes to the competition’s winners and presenting flat rice noodles as well as cooking recipes to all the attendees.
