On Saturday 24 August 2024, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark visited Social Welfare Center for Thai Nationals in Denmark at FAKTI Center, located in Bispebjerg Bakke area of Copenhagen Municipality. Ms. Wanida Samittiwiwat, Chairperson of Rak Thai Association, welcomed the Ambassador and provided information on the works of the Center. The Ambassador then presided over the opening of “Seminar to Provide Knowledge on Metal Health for Thai volunteers and Members of the Thai Community in Denmark “ which Ms. Wimonrat Wanpen, MD, Director of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Rajanangarintra Institute from Thailand, was invited as the speaker. Around 20 Thai nationals and Thai volunteers from Rak Thai Foundation and Thai Church in Denmark attended the seminar. The seminar, organized jointly by the Royal Thai Embassy and the Department of of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, has the objective of providing knowledge and skills to maintain good mental health to Thai nationals residing abroad. Similar seminars were also held in Aarhus and Aalborg for members of the Thai community in the areas.
