On Sunday 3 May 2026, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Thai Ambassador to Denmark attended the finals competition of the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup 2026 held in Horsens, Denmark from 24 April to 3 May 2026.

She met with Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, the President of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), and who is the only Thai woman elected to the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The Ambassador also had a chance to meet and chat with athletes and coaches from the National Badminton Team of Thailand, and took the opportunity to congratulate them on their participation here as representatives of the Kingdom of Thailand and the importance of sports as a means to connect with other nations and build understanding of different cultures.
