On 11 March 2026, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, hosted a dinner at the Ambassador’s Residence in honour of H.E. Mr. Pablito A. Mendoza, Ambassador-Designate of the Philippines to Denmark, on the occasion of his assumption of duty.
The event was attended by distinguished colleagues from ASEAN Member States, including H.E. Mrs. Siti Nugraha Mauludiah, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Denmark, and H.E. Ms. Nguyen Le Thanh, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Denmark. Also in attendance were Mr. Ove Ullerup, Chairman of Asia House, and Ms. Dewi Dylander, Chief Executive Officer of Asia House.
During dinner, discussions were held regarding the organization of joint activities to promote awareness of ASEAN in various dimensions, particularly in the areas of trade and investment in each member country, as well as learning about Danish industries that promote the use of renewable energy and the transition to a green economy, among others. In this regard, Asia House, which formerly housed the headquarters of the East Asiatic Company, has extended an invitation to ASEAN to jointly organize activities at the venue.
Currently, the Ambassador of Thailand serves as Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Copenhagen (ACC) for the 2025–2026 term, which carries a one-year tenure. The chairmanship will subsequently be handed over to the Ambassador of Viet Nam.
