On Friday 10 September 2021, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Denmark, together with her spouse, Mr. Theerakun Niyom, hosted a dinner for Thai trainee students who participate in Travel to Farm Program. The program is the collaboration between Office of the Vocational Education Commission, Ministry of Education of Thailand, and Danish Farmers Union of Denmark and Travel to Farm Office of Denmark, whose purpose is to enhance farming experiences of the participants. Each year, 10-15 Thai students who participate in the program will be trained in farms in different cities throughout Denmark for 4-12 months. The training will help each student gain experiences and techniques of Danish farming, which could be adapted to the development of the farming in Thailand.
