On 11 September 2025, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador-designate of Thailand to Lithuania with residence in Denmark, presented Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lithuania. During the tête-à-tête, H.E. Ambassador Tang congratulated H.E. Mr. Nausėda on his second term of presidency and conveyed warm greetings from His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of Thailand to the Lithuanian President. They discussed the need to strengthen the existing bilateral relations and areas for further cooperation such as innovation, life sciences, and cybersecurity. They further discussed the possibility of greater academic collaboration as well as ways to promote Thai kitchen in Lithuania, tourism, and people-to-people relations. In confirming the strong and cordial relations between the two countries, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang extended an invitation to the Lithuanian President to pay a state visit to Thailand at an opportune time.
