On 26 March 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen, together with the Embassy of the Philippines, the Embassy of Indonesia and the Embassy of Vietnam, as members of the ASEAN Copenhagen Committee (ACC), organized a seminar “Business Opportunities in ASEAN” at the Asia House to raise awareness about economic potential of the ASEAN region and highlight the strength of ASEAN economy and investment to promote businesses and investments from Denmark. The seminar was attended by more than 30 people from Danish government agencies and Danish leading companies such as the Danish Chamber of Commerce, the Danish Agricultural and Food Council (DAFC), the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Carlsberg - a famous Danish brewer, and Maersk -one of the world’s largest shipping and maritime companies; as well as DSV, a prominent global transport and logistics company.

On this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Suphanvasa Chotikajan Tang, Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Denmark, co-moderated the seminar in the panel on ASEAN as a production base and partner for the green transition, with speakers including Mr. Jacob Witte Iwersen, Senior Sales Manager and Director of ECCO - a major global shoe manufacturer; Mr. Kenth Hvid Nielsen - Global Marketing Head of Grundfos, one of the world’s largest water pump manufacturers; and Mr. Robert Helms, Co-Partner of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).
