“Taste of Thailand: Thai Street Food Festival”                 

  On Wednesday 20^th September 2017, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized a “Taste of Thailand: Thai Street Food Festival” event at the Thai Ambassador’s Residence, attended by some 170 people consisting of members of the diplomatic corps, Danish ministries, business and media. The festival presented several “Thai Street Food,” namely Pad Thai Noodles (Pad-Thai), Fried Mussels with Scrambled Eggs (Hoi-Tod), Papaya Salad (Som-Tam), Grilled Chicken with Sticky Rice (Gai-Yang-Khaw-Nieuw), Green Curry (Gang-Kiew-Wan), Fried Tofu (Tao-Hu-Tod), Fried Spring Rolls (Por-Pieer-Tod), Massamun Curry (Gang-Massaman), Grilled Meat Balls (Look-Chin-Ping), Grilled Skewed Pork with Sticky Rice (Moo-Ping-Kaow-Nieuw), Fried Fish Paste (Tod-Man-Pla), Beef Noodles (Kauy-Tiaw-Nua) and Thai desserts, namely Thai Coconut Pudding, (Kha-Nom-Krok), Thai Layered Jelly (Kha-Nom-Chan) and Sweet Sticky Rice with Thai Custard (Khao-Nheaw-Sang-Kha-Yha). In addition, there was also performance of Thai traditional dances, Thai fruit carving demonstration and a lucky draw with Thai Airways’ round-trip tickets to Phuket.
