On Saturday 3 June 2023, from 11.00 - 16.30 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen participated in the organisation of the “2nd Diplomatic Bazaar” at Gentofte Radhus organized by the Ambassadors’ Spouse Group in Copenhagen. At the event, there were booths of Embassies from 25 countries. In this occasion, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse, welcomed Mr. Michael Fenger, Mayor of Gentofte at the Thai booth which had Thai handicrafts products and Thai food (Chicken Massaman Curry) for sale, the distribution of Thai tourism brochure, the display of VDO clip about Thailand and the show of 2 sets of Thai traditional performances namely Fon Khan Dok (Flowers Scattering Dance) and Rabam Kinnari Ron (Dance of the Kinnari) on stage from the Rak Thai Association. The Embassy also provided prizes from Thailand awarded to winners from the tambola. The proceeds from the event were donated to the Children’s Aid Foundation (Børnehjælpsdage).
