On 10 August 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen organized a ceremony to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2024. Her Excellency the Ambassador, officials and spouses, staffs of the Royal Thai Embassy as well as approximately 50 people from the Thai community in Denmark attended the ceremony to pay tribute before Her Majesty’s portrait, followed by Thai traditional blessing dances performed by students from Rak Thai School and representatives from the Thai community. After that the activity of Thai Mother’s Day was arranged by having the children to pay respect to their mothers. The Ambassador then led the Thai community to sign the book of well-wishing to express gratitude to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother.
