On 27 July 2024, Mr. Puwit Wisatsakul, Chargé d'Affaires a.i., together with officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen and their families attended a Buddhist Ceremony to celebrate the Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary on 28 July 2024, as well as the Asarnha Bucha Day and Buddhist Lent Day, at Wat Pa Lolland, in the south of Copenhagen. The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. and the representatives from the Embassy participated in the morning prayers ceremony, gave alms to the monks, and casted candles for Buddhist Lent together with members of the Thai community. The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. then presided over the homage-paying ceremony as felicitations to His Majesty the King and led the participants in signing the well-wishing book for His Majesty the King.
