เมื่อวันที่ 9 กันยายน 2558 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโคเปนเฮเกน ร่วมกับสถานเอกอัครราชทูตอินโดนีเซีย  และสถานเอกอัครราชทูตเวียดนามได้จัดงาน ASEAN Day Reception ณ  Asia House ในกรุงโคเปนเฮเกน โดย ดร. สุรินทร์ พิศสุวรรณ อดีตเลขาธิการอาเซียน ได้บรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ ”Towards the ASEAN Community: Prospects and Challenges”  งานดังกล่าวมีคณะทูต ผู้แทนรัฐบาล ผู้บริหารองค์กรทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน รวมทั้งภาควิชาการและสื่อมวลชนเข้าร่วมกว่า 120 คน ทั้งนี้ นาง Lone Dencker Wisborg รองปลัดด้านนโยบายต่างประเทศ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศเดนมาร์กได้เป็นผู้แทนรัฐบาลเดนมาร์กกล่าวในงานดังกล่าว นอกจากนี ในโอกาสที่เดินทางมาร่วมกิจกรรมเผยแพร่อาเซียนในเดนมาร์ก ดร. สุรินทร์ฯ ยังได้พบหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นกับนาย Martin Bille Hermann รองปลัดด้านนโยบายความร่วมมือ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศเดนมาร์กและนาย Erik Laursen อธิบดีกรมเอเชีย ลาตินอเมริกาและโอเชียเนีย กระทรวงการต่างประเทศเดนมาร์กด้วย

ASEAN Day Reception and Special Talk by Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, former Secretary-General of ASEAN

On 9 September 2015, the Royal Thai Embassy in Copenhagen in collaboration with the Embassy of Indonesia and the Embassy of Viet Nam organized the ASEAN Day Reception at the Asia House in Copenhagen. This year, Dr. Surin Pitsuwan, the former Secretary-General of ASEAN, gave a special talk titled ”Towards the ASEAN Community: Prospects and Challenges”.  Attended guests include representatives from the diplomatic corps, Danish government officials, businessmen, academics and media personnel. Mrs. Lone Dencker Wisborg, State Secretary for Foreign Policy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark was a representative from Danish Government to deliver a remarks. In addition, Dr. Surin Pitsuwan also had meetings with Mr. Martin Bille Hermann, State secretary for Development Policy and Mr. Erik Laursen, Head of Department of Asia, Oceania and Latin America, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
