Additional documents can be required from passport holders from the list below, as the Thai embassy may require approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Thailand before your visa can be issued. Applicants without Danish residence permit are required to apply for Thai visa in their own country.

This may require additional time up to 4-8 weeks. Please allow enough time for processing.

** Kindly note that these instructions also apply to applicants holding Danish Alien’s Passport (Grey) and Danish Travel Document (Blue) who are originally of such nationalities.

Additional Required Document(s)

1. Copies of resident permit card in Denmark or Lithuania.

2. Copies of airline ticket in and out of Thailand

3. Copies of hotel bookings of your ENTIRE stay in Thailand.

4. Copies of your work contract or confirmation from your employer in English, or confirmation from your school/university stating that you are studying in Denmark.

5. All pages of your passport

6. Copies of bank statement, it must show applicant’s name and balance at least 6 months.

7. Clean criminal record in English

8. Nigerian nationals  MUST submit Certificate of Clearance issued by NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of Nigeria). The original certificate MUST be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nigeria and then by the Royal Thai Embassy in Abuja.
