On 8 August. 2022, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, and Mr. Theerakun Niyom, her spouse, hosted a welcome lunch for Thai national youth sailing athletes who competed in 2022 Optimist European Championships between 26 July – 6 August 2022 in Sønderborg, Denmark. The youth athletes representing Thailand in the tournament were Miss Prin Subying, Master Alexander William Phutta Flint, and Master Darwin Hsu. After the tournament concluded, Miss Prin or “Nong Khao Tang” finished 4^th from 111 competitors representing 41 countries, which demonstrated the success of Thai youth athlete in sailing at the international level.
