Northeast Thailand or “Isan” and “Phuket” are on the Time Magazine’s list of the top 50 World’s Greatest Places in 2023.

Isaan is a fascinating region of Thailand that is home of rice paddies, national parks, historical sites and ancient civilizations. It also boasts delicious regional cuisine, liked the world famous larb and papaya salad, as well as vibrant night markets.

Phuket is home to renowned beaches and Carnival Magic, the nation's first theme park for families with a cultural focus. There are eclectic festivals and colorful flea markets in Phuket, while kids can grab ice cream at local family-run ice cream shop Torry's. Phuket also offers volunteer tourism programs like the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary which welcomes guests to feed the elephants, learn about their behavior, and enjoy opulent lodging.
