On Sunday 4 December 2022, H.E. Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Ambassador of Thailand to Denmark, together with Mr. Teerakarn Savetsila, Consul, attended the ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great on the occasion of His Majesty’s birthday anniversary organized by Rak Thai Forening Association, one of the associations of the Thai community in Denmark. The Ambassador led members of the Thai community in singing the Royal Anthem and presided over the ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. The Ambassador also watched the dance performances by students and teachers from Rak Thai School, listened to Dhamma lesson from Phrakrusamu Mana Thitadhammo, Abbot of Watpa Lolland, and participated in a merit making ceremony. In this occasion, the Ambassador presented a book and a documentary video on the royal duties of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great to Ms. Wanida Samittiwiwat, President of Rak Thai Forening Association, to be utilized for providing knowledges of the importance and role of the Thai monarchy to the children of Thai nationals in Denmark.
